October Menu Preview
Okay, so October is shaping up to be a tasty month! We’re planning some really fun and seasonal dishes, trying to sneak in some healthy stuff without the kids even noticing, you know? We’re talking about maybe a harvest-themed salad bar one day, and who knows, maybe even a special spooky treat for Halloween – if we can get away with it! I’m personally crossing my fingers for the chili; it’s my favorite, but don’t tell anyone I said that.
Special Dietary Needs
Do you have a child with specific dietary needs? Don’t worry; we’ve got you covered! We understand that some students might have allergies or other health-related dietary restrictions. Just reach out to us, and we will work with you to make sure your child gets a safe and yummy meal. Seriously, don’t hesitate. We’re pretty good at figuring things out, and we definitely don’t want anyone missing out on lunch.

Healthy Eating Tips
Getting kids to eat healthily can be a real challenge, can’t it? I’m no expert, but one thing I’ve found that sometimes works is making it fun. Like, cut sandwiches into crazy shapes or let them help prep veggies. And don’t underestimate the power of a good dip – ranch makes everything taste better, or so I hear. Small steps, right?
Featured Recipe
This month, we’re spotlighting a super simple and healthy recipe: Baked Sweet Potato Fries! Just slice sweet potatoes into fry shapes, toss them with a little olive oil and your favorite spices (I like cinnamon!), and bake until they’re crispy. Even picky eaters seem to like them. Give it a try and let us know what you think!
